Your neighborhood association, the Northside Residents Redevelopment Council (NRRC), is giving away Rain Barrels to residents through the Clean Water Ambassador program. They are doing this to educate residents on how to maintain and protect clean water while giving them the tools needed to accomplish this.
In order to get one installed at your home you must do the following:
Complete this survey to determine if a Rain Barrel can be installed at your residence.
Attend an educational workshop at the NRRC Headquarters (1303 Golden Valley Road) on Thursday June 2nd (5:00-7:00) and implemented by MN Renewable Now's Executive Director, Kristel Porter
Engage with 10 neighbors informing them of the importance of and how to protect our clean water. Program participants have two options for completing this outreach: you may either host an educational event with 10 participants or engage with neighbors door to door. Please note if you choose to host an engagement event NRRC can supply a $50 gift card towards your event.
NRRC will gift and install a rain barrel once you have completed these three steps. If you are interested in taking part in the Clean Water Ambassadors Program, please fill out the survey by Monday, May 23rd.
