Minneapolis Foundation Grants MN Renewable Now!

MN Renewable Now was one of 3 grantees that received a grant from the Minneapolis Foundation. $100,000 out of the entire $122,000 fund was gifted by the Mcknight Foundation. MN Renewable Now will be partnering with Center For Energy and Environment for the next year working with neighborhoods that fall within the North Minneapolis Green Zones. They will be working with them to opt in to Wind Source through their Xcel Energy Bill and connect them with Community Solar options. They will also inform home and business owners on ways they can get the financing to install Solar panels onto their homes.
